The United States has withdrawn all forces back to the States Soil. The remainder of the American fleet patrols the coastline. Soldiers wait on standby to respond to threats.

A letter arrives in the American government's hands from Italy. It is from the Italian District with Generalissimo Rucci's seal.
"Dear U.S. General,
I am sorry for betraying your trust, but your invasion of Italy was unwise. If I were to stay with you, two of the most populated forces would head me on harder than you. I subscribed to defend Italy so that I had my own rights.
That doesn't mean war is the best option. I have to regain my economy and military, and when I am finished, I may have thoughts about an alliance. But for now, I request you stop invading the Italian area, or I may need to shut you out.
This includes many of the imported goods. I hope you can realize this is not the best option.
Generalissimo Jon Rucci
